Gunwriter John Taffin's article about Bob Munden in the August, 2014 edition of Guns Magazine

In the two-page article Taffin praises not only Bob’s shooting abilities, but his Six-Gun Magic custom gunsmithing, now performed by Jeff Ault, who learned in person from Bob: www.facebook.com/sixgunmagichttp://www.bobmunden.com/custom-gunsmithing/

Taffin also mentions the DVD Bob Munden: Outrageous Shooting, which is also available directly from Becky at the shop – but was not aware that we are completing two other films we were already working on with Bob before we lost him.

Enjoy this in-depth article by the very well-known gun writer John Taffin.

SHOOTING TIMES MAGAZINE POLL:
BEST EXHIBITION SHOOTER OF ALL TIME

Shooting Times Magazine online posted an article and launched voting for the Best Exhibition Shooter of All Time. Becky Munden was not included on the list, which would have been a great disappointment to Bob, and is to Becky’s fans; however Bob has received the most votes so far.

Because several Bob Munden fans contacted us asking when the voting was going to close, we reached out to Shooting Times to ask when they planned to wrap up the voting.

Shooting Times Magazine Online Shooting Editor Dusty Gibson responded and kindly updated us.

Dusty wrote: Thanks for contacting us and we appreciate your readership. I honestly had no plan to ever close the voting. It’s intended to be a running vote, as web articles never go away. It’s my opinion that the current placings for each candidate are likely not going to change dramatically. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,
Dusty Gibson

BOB & BECKY INDUCTED INTO THE SASS HALL OF FAME

In December, 2008, Bob & Becky Munden were inducted into the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) Hall of Fame during the annual SASS Convention in Las Vegas. SEARCHING FOR FOOTAGE, PHOTOS & REMEMBRANCES

Bob and Becky Munden performed all over the nation and in several countries beginning as a duo in 1968. Bob was performing solo before that. Becky and daughters are looking for film or video footage shot by fellow competitors, audience members or free-lance photographers. Do you have film footage, video or photos from one of Bob and Becky’s stage shows or live-ammunition exhibitions, Fast-Draw, Bianchi Cup, Steel Challenge, Bob and Becky’s practical pistol-shooting tournaments in Montana or Nevada; performances before the general public — or shooting tournaments all the way back to the days when Bob, as a teenager, shot in Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper’s Leatherslaps in the 1950s? Did you meet Bob and Becky? Do you have stories?

Please contact Munden Enterprises if you have memories to share. Thank you!
